Plan credit resets every month, on Free and Pro alike: use it or lose it. Balance you top up yourself never expires. When the balance reaches zero, sends stop instead of billing you.

When credit runs out
What happens when the credit runs out
Zavu is prepaid. There is no invoice at the end of the month for usage you did not expect, because there is no way to spend money you have not already put in.

You send, the balance goes down
Your plan credit lands in the same balance as any top-up you add. One number, spent against the rates above, whichever channel you use.

At zero, sends are rejected
The API returns 402 with code insufficient_balance and the message is never dispatched. Nothing is charged to a card, nothing accrues, no service is silently degraded. Inbound messages and webhooks keep working.

Top up, or wait for the reset
Add balance from the dashboard and sending resumes immediately. Or wait: the next billing date adds your credit again. Credit is monthly and does not accumulate; the balance you top up yourself stays.
